Top » 10 Reasons You Should Not Be An Employee
Published by Adrian Brown on 13.02.2009 in Opportunities and previewed 622 timesWorking as an employee is the only means of suvival most people know about. The system, our schools and universities teach us how to be an employee for life.
The following are ten reasons living your life as an employee is certainly not the only way to live, and definitely not the wisest decision to take. This list is by no means exhaustive, these are the first ones come to mind.
1. As an employee, your salaries are limited from all angles. You are getting no where in your dead-end JOB and pay-check to pay-check lifestyle, apart from paying those monthly bills. You deserve far more than what you are getting. You are not being paid what you are worth, you are paid what your employer can afford.
2. Except for a few occasions, when you take leaves and holidays, if you do not work, you do not get paid. That is trading time for money, and when time runs out money stop coming in. Once you stop working, you stop earning.
3. You have no freedom of your own, you are constantly being bossed around. You are told how to live your life, when to take a break, when to eat, when to rest, when to go to the rest room. You are experiencing an ordered-driven lifestyle.
4. You are not getting enough rest as your body deserves. Your sleep is always cut short by the alarm clock. Then you have to drink coffee to stay awake on the road, stressed and tired of the times wasted in long line of traffic every day going to the job.
5. The reality of life is we must have employees. But you work with the understanding that it is your choice. For example, you may choose to work as an employee, but you do that because you want to, not because you have to. You might love your job so much, that you do it more for the love than for the money.
6. If you are stuck as an employee, and think there is not way out, that can be stressful and overly demanding on your physical and mental stability. A stressful job is a dangerous situation to be in. The stress tired you more than the actual work, and create many lope-holes for other diseases to attack your body.
7. Many people are stressed because they hate their job, they hate the people they work with, and yet they continue to do it, amazing, isn't it? One employee is given three people work to carry.
8. Situations like these come from a sense of helplessness and hopelessness. Working because you cannot do better, working for pay and living a miserable life.
9. Your job cannot be passed on to your children. When you stop working, the pension cannot even pay the bills. You work hard for years and in the end there is nothing to show for it.
10. As an employee you are living in uncertainty, you are living in fear, wondering if you will be the next one to be let go. You can go to work tomorrow and see a letter on your desk saying you have no job.
A growing number of individuals are finding out and discovering that there is another and a better way to live than working as an employee.
Do you dream of waking up and do not have to face the bumper traffic to work? Do you long for the day to come when you don't have to work with that miserable colleague or that boss who won't get off your back? Are you one of the many who want to tell the boss to take a hike? Then go ahead, start doing something. Take action to change your life. http://www.attend4profit.com/pips.html. It can work for you.
